Not a coin flip. The shape of the match is set before it starts.
Before the match you spend 200 attack across the five hands — at least 10 each, in steps of 10. Win a turn and you deal exactly what the hand you played was worth.
Every hand you play is revealed to both sides. Each hand can only be played once, so the match becomes a reading contest: which hands are left, and how much is still loaded into them.
Arranged clockwise, each hand beats the next one and the one three along. All ten outcomes fall out of that.

The CPU spends its points differently every match — sometimes stacking one hand, sometimes saving the big one for last. It plays through without a connection.
